Sales Education & Sensitisation Associate

About the role

Kolomoni Kolomoni Microfinance Institution (Gambia), a subsidiary of CapitalSage Holdings, is building its microfinance operations in Banjul. This is a travelling, talking job: markets, community halls, service centres, in English and local languages, where the main challenge is helping customers understand charges, limits, PINs and other products so they do not stop transacting or fall victim to fraud.

Key responsibilities

• Develop simple, accurate and accessible customer, business and sales education materials, adapted for English, local languages and low-literacy audiences.
• Deliver product, process, KYC/KYB, fraud-awareness and customer-protection sensitisation.
• Plan and run roadshows, merchant clinics, community sessions and service-centre demonstrations.
• Support field-force induction, launch readiness and refresher training, and run knowledge checks and certification.
• Equip Business Relationship Officers and Direct Sales Agents to explain the proposition accurately in the field.
• Coordinate approved digital and physical campaign content with Marketing and the business leads.
• Collect recurring questions, objections and misunderstandings and update the material until they disappear.
• Track coverage, attendance and certification, and measure what actually changed afterwards.

Required profile

• Diploma or first degree in communications, marketing, education, business, media or a related field.
• One to three years in training, customer education, field marketing, digital content, community engagement, sales enablement or financial services.
• Experience presenting to a mixed audience in person, not just producing material for others to present.
• Fluency in the relevant local languages and real comfort in a market or community setting.
• Ability to explain complex things simply without distorting accuracy; adult learning, product communication, consumer protection and basic banking, payments and fraud awareness.
