Junior Electrical Engineer (Associate)

About the role

The Junior Electrical Engineer (Associate) supports the design, installation, testing and maintenance of electrical systems while working under the supervision of senior engineers. The role offers hands-on experience in project implementation, troubleshooting and compliance with safety and engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the design, installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Support testing, inspections and troubleshooting of electrical equipment.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings and project documentation.
• Participate in site inspections and monitor project progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with project teams and take part in training and professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and engineering principles.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage
