Corporate Banking & Ecosystems Lead

About the role

CapitalSage Holdings is looking for a Corporate Banking & Ecosystems Lead in Banjul. The role focuses on building corporate, institutional and biller relationships that move predictable cycles of money such as payroll, school fees, utility collections, NGO disbursements and supplier payments. Success is measured by live transactions, not just signed mandates.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Corporate Banking and Ecosystems strategy, pipeline and commercial performance.
• Identify and acquire corporate, public-sector, NGO, education, utility, biller and platform relationships within approved appetite.
• Structure collection, payroll, bulk-payment, supplier-payment and ecosystem propositions around the client's operating cycle.
• Lead discovery and commercial negotiation, coordinating Legal, Finance, Risk, Product and Technology inputs.
• Develop business cases, pricing proposals and relationship profitability analysis.
• Coordinate onboarding, KYB, integration, testing, operational readiness and client training through to the first live transaction.
• Run client service reviews, manage escalations and own renewal and expansion.
• Track transacting clients, transaction count and value, retained balances, revenue and contribution against plan.

Required profile

• First degree in banking, finance, business, economics, accounting, technology or a related discipline.
• Five to seven years in corporate banking, transaction banking, institutional payments, enterprise sales, fintech partnerships or ecosystem development.
• Proven track record of closing complex mandates and taking them through to live, recurring transaction flow.
• Complex sales, solution structuring, negotiation and executive presence with senior stakeholders.
