About the role
As the Team Lead for Bancassurance at Access Bank PLC, you will drive the integration of banking and insurance services, maximizing customer value and revenue growth. You will manage the Bancassurance team, develop strategic partnerships, and ensure efficient delivery of insurance products through the bank’s channels.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the Bancassurance team in implementing strategies and sales concepts to meet targets.
- Monitor product performance, recommend improvements, and adjust offerings.
- Train and develop team members on Bancassurance products.
- Build strong relationships with clients, insurance partners, and regulators.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify new opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Prepare performance reports and presentations for senior management.
Required profile
- First degree in any discipline; additional qualifications in Insurance or Financial Services are a plus.
- Professional insurance certification (e.g., Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, with at least 3 years in a leadership role involving Bancassurance or insurance sales.
