National Distribution & Service Centre Manager

About the role

Kolomoni Microfinance Institution (Gambia), a subsidiary of CapitalSage Holdings and licensed by the Central Bank of The Gambia, is building its national distribution network of service centres, led by Area Council Managers and supported by field teams. This is a travelling role based in the field rather than Head Office, responsible for deciding where and how many service centres are deployed, and ensuring every Area Council delivers the same commercial, service and control outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the national distribution and service-centre plan, setting location targets, resource allocation, coverage priorities and productivity standards.
• Lead and coach the Area Council Managers and hold each to a complete location scorecard.
• Coordinate recruitment, training, certification, deployment and performance review of field teams with HR and functional managers.
• Ensure consistent service-centre procedures, customer experience, asset security and reporting across all locations.
• Review market maps, route plans, field activity, acquisition quality and conversion performance, and recommend resource reallocation and expansion based on density, demand, productivity, unit economics and control readiness.
• Coordinate field dependencies with Business Portfolio, Operations, POS & Hardware, Cards, Credit, Risk and Finance, and escalate and track remediation of material commercial, service, people, safety and control issues.

Required profile

• First degree in business, banking, finance, marketing, operations or a related discipline.
• Seven or more years in national sales, banking distribution, agency banking, retail operations or field-force management.
• At least three of those years managing multiple locations or territories, not one large one.
• People leadership at distance, resource allocation under constraint, coaching, commercial judgement, operational discipline and genuine readiness to travel.
