Business Relationship Supervisor

About the role

Kolomoni Microfinance Institution (Gambia), a CBG-licensed microfinance institution serving customers across The Gambia, is recruiting Business Relationship Supervisors to lead field execution in its Merchant Business and Digital Payments function. The supervisor runs a territory, leads a team of Business Relationship Officers and Direct Sales Agents, turns location targets into daily plans and holds the team accountable for both volume and quality. The role is mostly in the field, not at a desk.

Key responsibilities

• Translate location targets into daily, weekly and monthly officer plans, and assign routes, segments and campaigns.
• Coach officers and agents through field accompaniment, call reviews and performance feedback.
• Monitor pipeline, conversion, funding, activation and documentation quality across the territory.
• Validate field reports before submission and reconcile them against the bank's records.
• Investigate unusual, duplicate, low-quality or potentially fraudulent acquisitions and escalate findings.
• Enforce KYC and KYB standards, customer protection, data security, attendance and conduct.
• Run daily huddles and submit accurate territory performance and issue reports.

Required profile

• Three to five years in field sales, banking, mobile money, merchant acquisition or distribution, including at least one year supervising or coaching sales staff.
• A record of delivering acquisition and activation targets through a team, not individually.
• Bachelor's degree, HND or equivalent professional qualification in business, marketing, banking, finance or a related field.
• Local-market awareness and local-language communication.
