Team Lead, Information & Cyber Security

About the role

Lead the information and cyber security function for the bank, driving awareness, risk management and compliance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Anchor information security awareness within the group and the bank at large.
• Maintain and manage risk and asset registers, SLA management and project management liaison.
• Monitor bank projects to ensure timely execution and expected ROI.
• Ensure budgets for security programs are adhered to.
• Achieve required legislative, regulatory and contractual standards.
• Maintain continuous ISO certification for the bank.
• Provide strategic direction to guarantee success of enterprise security programs.
• Draft and maintain information security dashboards with relevant metrics, KPIs, KRIs and project milestones.
• Perform any other functions assigned by the CISO.

Required profile

• First degree in an Information Technology related discipline; a relevant master’s degree is an advantage.
• Professional qualifications such as ISO 27001 implementer/auditor or other information security certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a similar role or related field.
