Communications Analyst – BRIDGE Project

About the role

The Communications Analyst will support the BRIDGE Project, a joint UNDP‑AfDB initiative aimed at strengthening gender‑responsive governance and inclusive development. Based in Banjul, the role focuses on developing and executing a comprehensive communication and visibility strategy to showcase project results and engage stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, operationalize and continuously refine the BRIDGE Project Communication and Visibility Plan, aligning it with project results frameworks, donor expectations and implementation timelines.
• Ensure all communications adhere to UNDP corporate policies, brand guidelines, and AfDB visibility and disclosure requirements.
• Produce and disseminate project updates, success stories, and knowledge products across multiple platforms.
• Coordinate with project partners, donors, and media to maximize outreach and influence public discourse.
• Monitor and report on visibility metrics, providing recommendations for improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic communication, preferably within international development or multilateral environments.
• Strong understanding of UNDP communication policies and donor visibility requirements.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
